The Jump Space Free Weekend starts in 2 days, so we're working fast to make the game as smooth as possible with the new update for all the new players coming in.
Mod Detector: Added a mod detection system that will show players a message if mods are installed, reminding them that mods might cause issues and they should consider these when troubleshooting said issues.
Threat Level Indicator: The Mission Outcome Screen now displays a new circular threat level indicator, replacing the old progress bar. The indicator now also supports Threat Levels up to 10, up from the previous maximum of 5.
Shield Unit: The Shield Unit has been reclassified as a utility item and can now be assigned to a utility slot in player inventory
Auto-Reload Sprint: Players now automatically sprint when their assault rifle runs out of ammo and begins auto-reloading, keeping you moving in the heat of battle.
Numb Carnage: Increased the starting timer for Numb Carnage at Rare difficulty to 26 seconds, giving players a bit more time compared to the Common difficulty.
Inventory Management: Keyboard players can now move freely while managing their inventory or selecting an emote with a radial menu.
Mailbox Interaction: Sending an item through the cargo mailbox onto your ship no longer accidentally opens the inventory management screen at the same time.
Inventory Menu: Fixed an issue where the inventory management menu could get stuck open. It now correctly closes as soon as the key is no longer held.
Ruptured Armour: Fixed an issue where the Ruptured Armour effect was not functioning correctly.
Enemy Icons: Enemy icons are now properly hidden when an enemy is killed.
Seekers Stuck in Wall: Fixed an issue where Seekers could become stuck inside a wall at the Asteroid Mining Rig landing site.
Ship Objective Icon: Removed a piece of "TEST" placeholder text that was appearing on Beam Cruisers during the Defend Ship mission.
Fire Extinguisher Icon: Fixed the Fire Extinguisher's icon appearing too large in the inventory.
Shield Unit Icon: Fixed the Shield Unit being missing its icon.
Server Browser Text: Fixed threat level numbers not displaying correctly in the server browser when using larger text sizes.
Heat Contributions: Fixed an issue where Ingot heat contributions were being counted twice when continuing a run.
Bag Items: Fixed an issue where items inside player backpacks would disappear when entering a new mission or scenario.
Seeker Audio: Improved audio mixing for Seeker sound effects for a better overall sound experience.
